Apart from the flurry of posting activity that normally accompanies the approach to any rounded thousand (the next after this note being the monumental message 40,000) and the less zeal-driven grabs for lesser thousands, there are those who occupy their time gathering aesthetically pleasing message numbers instead. One example of this number prospecting is the All-The numbers, of which there have been many, but only a few in recent memory - those being eleven thousand one-hundred and one, twenty-two thousand two-hundred and two and thirty-three thousand three-hundred and three. Obviously, below 11,111 there were many more All-The Numbers, but these last three have taken more than 3 years to appear. It is not entirely obvious why this keen interested in claiming numbers is so entertaining for those involved, but the keenest medically and psychologically trained minds in the universe have come up with the theory that it is because the individuals involved and sad and bemused.
